Fitness Authority is a 12 week program that promotes healthy eating and physical fitness. Members enjoy excercising and competing with other members of their own age. Members are divided into age groups: Fitness Squad (6-9 years old), Fitness Masters (10-14 years old), and Fitness All-Stars (15-18 years old). The program is divided into different themes. The themes include physical fitness, nutrition, self-esteem, and sports culture and history. All members participate in a series of competitions three times during the 12 weeks. After each series of competitions the members make goals to reach for the next series of competitions.

Once the twelve week program is complete, a pentathlon is conducted and the scores are entered at the Fitness Authority website. The members that score high will compete at regional level and have a chance to compete at the national level as well.
